Just might get there…

The blanket it coming along. After a really slow beginning of the week, I’ve now just about caught up to where I need to be.

It took me through Thursday to finish both sides of the next stranded colorwork sections:

I really needed that done by Tuesday to be on track… but I’ve caught up in the last couple days and am now ready for the last (smaller) sections of colorwork. If I can complete those over the weekend, I think I can finish the blanket this upcoming week.

It’s really starting to look like a blanket! I laid it out over two chairs and was surprised by just how large it’s gotten.

I’m starting to realize though that I’m going to have a problem… I have no idea how I am going to block it. It’s not where to lay it out – our bed is large enough, or I could use our drying rack. Now, it’s how to soak it. We don’t have a bathtub, the sinks are too small and the washing maching is front load.
