Progress on the Luck Dragon socks continues. TheEnabler makes gleeful sounds each time he sees me working on them. I’m about 3/4 of the way through sock #1 and based on a quick weigh of my ball of yarn, should be in the clear to get two socks from it. This is thanks to a combo of a generous 460 yds in the skein and that my husband doesn’t have particularly large feet.
Also, I have discovered a drawback to using squash as photo props – I’m down to my last one as the others have been sacrificed for such goodies as pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and squash soup. Cooked squash does not work well for posing knitting projects.
Thumbs up for the awesome squash prop, and a second thumbs up for sacrificing it and eating it after. #vegetariansforkillingvegetables
Also, those socks do look like fiery shiny dragon scales, so kudos to the Enabler for good taste and to their maker!
