I’ve been thinking in my head that I have until Friday to finish the socks. This is my first day off work, the day my dad and stepmom arrive,
But this isn’t right, for two reasons.
First, I should really finish them a day before they need to be given, so I can block them. Luckily, they should dry pretty quickly in the current warm weather. But still, they’ll need some time to dry.
And secondly, my Aunt doesn’t get in on Friday. She arrives Thursday night.
So, I thought I had Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to work. I only have Tuesday and Wednesday. 2/3 of the time I thought. I mean, it could be worse. I could have only 1/2 or 1/3 of the time I expected.
Good thing I’m making some progress…
Totally achievable. 7 more repeats and a toe. Nothing to it. Also, only four ends to weave in, which is a vast improvement on the hat.
